A bottle of Bean's Alcoholic Cider

Bean's Alcoholic Cider is a special variety of cider made by Franklin Bean. Mr. Bean lives on a liquid diet of it, around 2-3 bottles a day. It is made from the Red Remarkable apple. The cider is made by one of two machines: One, a small machine that can take one whole apple, juice it, and ferment it in seconds. This machine makes only one glass at a time. There is a second machine in the Processing and Fermentation Room that appears to produce mass quantities of cider.

Location[]

A tanker full of Bean's Alcoholic Cider.

The cider is kept in Mr. Bean's basement, in the Processing and Fermentation room. In this room, hundreds of bottles sit on metal shelves. The room is guarded by Rat. The room is lit by a soft, golden light because of the cider. To enter, the Foxes and Kylie enter through a chute, marked as "Down Chute 3". They land in a bin of apples below the chute. Also in this room is a giant cider-making machine. The floor is made of concrete.

A set of metal stairs lead to the house above. There are metal pipes running along the ceiling, and the lightbulbs are bright white.

Taste[]

According to Mr. Fox, the cider is some of the finest in the world, and "burns in your throat, boils in your stomach, and tastes almost exactly like pure melted gold." And to Bagder, " sunbeams and rainbows!"
